Japanese engineers coming to Gorenje - Production of new-generation washing machines to start 2015 in Zajecar

Chairman of the Gorenje Managing Board Franjo Bobinac announced that Japanese engineers would soon come to that company, adding that development teams would be working together as of the autumn on the development of new-generation washing machines that would be produced in Zajecar starting 2015.

- Gorenje has been preparing the factory in Zajecar for a while now. With fresh capital, it will be finished even before the schedule - the regional web portal SeeBiz cited Bobinac as saying in an interview with the daily Vecer.

Panasonic, which is going to become Gorenje's strategic partner, will pay EUR 10 million in mid-September, he announced.
