Gorenje reports EUR 7.8 million loss in H1 2013

After turning a EUR 2.3 million net profit in the first six months of 2012, Slovenia's Gorenje made a EUR 7.8 million net loss in the same period this year.

This manufacturer of household appliances from Velenje reported a consolidated revenue of EUR 590 million in H1 2013, down 3 percent from last year, it was announced on the website of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

The Velenje-based group registered a profit of EUR 15.5 million in the first six months of this year, down 27.3 percent from the same period in 2012 (EUR 21.4 million).
