Simpo gets RSD 1.5 billion loan to settle debt to Pension and Disability Insurance Fund



At its session today, the Serbian government approved a long-term interest-free loan of RSD 1.5 billion to Simpo Vranje to completely settle its tax debt to the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the government's Media Relations Office said in a release.
The government adopted a decision to order the Finance Ministry to take necessary measures, in line with its competencies and a protocol signed with Simpo Vranje, in the process of settling company's debts to government creditors.
The government has given the green light to the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia to issue a guarantee in regard to a request that Simpo is going to file in line with the Program of measures for strengthening the lending and guarantee potential for the purpose of securing a loan for permanent working capital, the release reads.
