Mercedes and Ikarbus to sign cooperation agreement by year's end

Ikarbus CEO Aleksandar Vicentic today confirmed to Tanjug news agency that that company should sign a strategic cooperation agreement with Mercedes by the year's end.

According to him, such agreement would call for the manufacture of Mercedes' entire product portfolio in Zemun.

Vicentic sees this as a great chance for technical and technological progress and the worldwide promotion of the Serbian factory. As he added, these buses should feature the logos of both Mercedes and Ikarbus.

- This cooperation would also be a good opportunity for FAP that could assemble vehicles - says FAP CEO Zoran Zakovic.
