Job abroad can be fraud - Accept offers from registered agencies only

The Ministry of Labor advised the citizens of Serbia on Tuesday (20 August 2013) to visit one of the 60 registered employment mediation agencies if they are looking for a job abroad.

- These agencies face huge fines if they fail to meet their obligations, and the citizens can get all the information about them at the Ministry - the Ministry of Labor said in a release.

Foreign employers are to provide satisfactory working conditions and protection for Serbian workers, that is, equal treatment at least - health insurance, accommodation and travel expenses covered.

Damaged workers can contact the embassy or consulate of our country, which then forwards the complaint to the Ministry of Labor to monitor the operations of the agency in question.
