Italians to build solar plant in Dimitrovgrad, Russians building gas station

The local self-government of Dimitrovgrad has started working on an urban design for the construction of a 30-megawatt solar plant in Lukavica.

- Investors from Italy are interested in building a solar plant in Lukavica. We have talked with Gazprom Neft about the construction of a large gas station with a holiday hostel at the Gradina border crossing on Corridor X. This investment is valued at EUR 2 million - Dimitrovgrad Mayor Nebojsa Ivanov said and added that those were very important projects that would bring new jobs and reduce the number of unemployed people in that municipality.
