After overcoming administrative problems with licenses, the Mining and Smelter Basin (RTB) Bor has continued to build a new smelter and a sulfuric acid plant that should be completed in mid-2014.

According to RTB Bor CEO Blagoje Spaskovski, there are over 300 workers at building sites at the moment, and he expects another hundred to join them soon.

RTB Bor also plans to build a wastewater treatment plant and a slag flotation plant as accompanying facilities of the new smelter.
