Greek town of Katerini has offered Jagodina more than half a hectare of land in the Olympian Riviera, that is, Paralia.

Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic Palma, who leads a business and political delegation of Serbia on a visit to Greece, spoke on Friday (16 August 2013) with Katerini Mayor Savas Hionidis about the allotment of a land lot in Paralia to the Serbian town.

Hionidis offered 550 hectares of coast in that part of Greece to Serbian investors and more than half a hectare to Jagodina.

Jagodina has already received two hectares of coast lying opposite to the island of Thasos as a gift from the town of Chrysoupoli.

- More than 25 percent of tourists from Serbia who spend their summer vacation in Greece are coming to the Olympian region, that is, Katerini and Paralia, and over 70 percent of facilities in Paralia are built thanks to Serbian tourists - said Markovic.
