Public discussion about energy development strategy commenced


The Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection of Serbia published Friday a Draft Strategy for Energy Development in Serbia by 2025 with projections to 2030, thus opening a public discussion about that document, which will last until October 11th.
The new strategy defines strategic priorities and the directions of the development of the energy sector in line with the obligations stemming from the Energy Community Treaty.
According to the Ministry, the plan is to organize six meetings for public consultations, and the first of them is scheduled for August 29th in Belgrade.
Public consultations will also be held on September 6th in Novi Sad, September 13th in Nis, September 20th in Kragujevac, September 27th in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade, while the final public consultation will take place on October 11th in the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.
