37th General Assembly of the World Trade Centers Association

This year's WTCA Assembly took place in Istanbul, on October 29 to November 2. More than 250 World Trade Center delegates, from 85 worldwide countries, took part in this year's Assembly.

Representatives of the World Trade Center Belgrade had a well received participation in several Committees of this Assembly (for Tourism, Fairs and International Relations), presenting our Center's activities and promoting Belgrade Fair's international fair events, since the basic role of our Center is providing international promotion and support to Belgrade Fair's events. Within the Assembly, Regional Meetings were held, as well, in order to improve the cooperation between the World Trade Centers in the Region and their contribution to the economic relations development. In several bilateral discussions during the Assembly, direct proposals were made on prospect future projects with the World Trade Centers, as well as the representatives of the Association Board of Directors, which will be finalized in the following period, in order to further improve the international activities of Belgrade Fair as the founder and the license owner of the World Trade Center Belgrade.

Regarding further promotion of the World Trade Centers Association and the World Trade Center Belgrade, Belgrade Fair / World Trade Center Belgrade will be visited this week by Mr. Bryan Montgomery, Chairman of the Association and the Honorable President of the Union des Foires Internationales (International Fair Union, UFI). On that occasion, a Press Conference will be held in the Media Centre in Belgrade.
