Sojaprotein registers RSD 2.75 million losses in H1 2013

Becej-based soybean manufacturer Sojaprotein has published its six-month financial results that point to a significant drop in operations.

The company has generated a business revenue of RSD 4.8 billion, down by 37 percent from the same period last year, whereas the sales revenues were more than halved.

Sojaprotein's sales fell 79.1 percent in the local market with its export down 7.7 percent to EUR 23.9 million in H1 2013.

Due to reduced financial expenditures (owing to a more stable money exchange rate), the net loss stood at RSD 275.5 million.

Sojaprotein shares had been at the level of RSD 576 before these results were published today, meaning that the company's market cap is at RSD 8.6 billion (around EUR 75 million).
