AIK Banka's H1 2013 profit cut in half

Nis-based AIK Banka has published financial results for the first six months of 2013, which indicate a drop in business activities as well as a much lower final result.

AIK's core operations have decreased substantially. Revenues from interests fell 8.8 percent from the same period last year, to RSD 5.8 billion, whereas the revenue from fees and commissions dropped 23.5 percent, to RSD 368.3 million.

AIK's final result was nearly twice as low and amounted to RSD 1.02 billion.

The assets of this bank were at RSD 156.5 billlion at the end of June, up 1.4 percent from the beginning of the year.

AIK Banka shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange have lost 13 percent in value this year. With the latest share price of RSD 1,362, the bank's market cap amounts to RSD 12.32 billion (EUR 108.2 million).
