Bulgarian "Monbat" to set aside 8m EUR for battery factory in Inđija

The contract on direct foreign investment in construction of battery factory "Monbat", which will be put into operation in Spring 2008, was signed on Saturday (November 4, 2006) in Inđija in the presence of Georgi Dimitrov, the Ambassador or Republic of Bulgaria to Serbia.

Dimitrov pointed out that Bulgarian investments in Serbia would grow during 2007 and that that trend would be continued.

- We will invest 8m EUR in the factory in Inđija and employ 80 people. The batteries worth more than 15m USD on the annual basis are intended for export to foreign markets – said the manager of company "Monbat" Atanasij Bobokov.
