Amendments to spatial plan for South Stream gas pipeline


Republic Spatial Planning Agency today put a Draft of amendments and supplements to the Spatial Plan for the area covered by the transnational gas pipeline South Stream and the Report on the strategic assessment of its impact on the environment on public display.
Aforementioned report covers the following areas: Zajecar, Smederevo, Pancevo, Palilula, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica, Sabac, Loznica, Boljevac, Paracin, Cuprija, Despotovac, Svilajnac, Zabari, Velika Plana, Kovin, Opovo, Titel, Zabalj, Temerin, Srbobran, Vrbas, Kula, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Ruma, Bogatic, Backa Palanka, and Bac.
Insight into amendments to the Spatial Plan and the Report will be possible starting today until September 6th. Documents will be put on public display on the premises of local self-governments and in electronic form as well as on the official website of the Spatial Planning Agency.
Public presentation will be held in Belgrade on August 26th, in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. All objections should be submitted to the Agency. The Commission for Public Insight will organize a public session on September 16th at the City Hall of Novi Sad.
