Spanish FCC and Austrian "Alpina" closest to concession for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway

- The best bid for allotment of concession for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway has been given by Spanish company FCC, in cooperation with Austrian company "Alpina", which offered 800m EUR - said Minister of Capital Investments Velimir Ilić.

He said that that decision had been made by the Government on the basis of the proposal of the Tender Commission for allotment of concessions and financial advisor, pointing out that the period of negotiations for signing of the concession contract lay ahead.

- If the negotiations with first-ranked consortium fail, the negotiations with the second-ranked bidder will commence, which is German building concern PORR, which appeared under name of Serbian consortium with its collaborators – Minister explained.

According to his words, the third-ranked on this tender is the consortium of German company "Strabag" and French "Buiga", whereas the fourth are French "Vinci" and GNP.
