Public-private-partnership for construction of Zrenjnin-based bio gas-driven combined heat and power facility - Tender for investors released


Zrenjan-based Gradska toplana is looking for a private partner for the construction of the bio gas- driven heat and power generation facility.
According to a public call which was published Saturday in Vecernje novosti, it is planned to sign a public-private-partnership contract. A special purpose company will be set up, owned by a private partner and accountable for the project implementation.
As it has been implied, the public-private-partnership will se set up on a 25-year time, and private partner will get 75% of the overall profit.
The interested parties can submit their offers within 90 days as of the publication of the call on the public procurement portal.
The city administration of Zrenjnin competed in the PSO-M program implemented by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with the proposal of the Agro food industrial waste management project. The City and Toplana are implementing the project and they were approved EUR 729 000 for equipping combined heat and power facility. The Dutch HOST Bio-energy installation will built the facility.
Private partner should set aside the remaining portion of funds essential for the implementation of the project.
