Hotel "Metropol" Belgrade soon in company of leading world hotels

Belgrade-based hotel "Metropol", after voluminous renovation that starts in Spring 2007, will become one of the most prestigious hotels in the Balkans, because the new owners from company "Greek hotel" did not limit the budget for reconstruction.

Greek owners plan to make Belgrade-based hotel part of the elite association of the "Leading World Hotels".

- Our "Daskalantonakis group", in addition to the hotels in Greece, owns "Sheraton" in Sofia, and, after renovation of "Metropol", we plan to buy a hotel in Budapest and, in that way, complete our presence in the Balkans – said general manager Hristor Cembers and added that he would decide whether to link hotel in Belgrade to some world hotel chain, such as "Sheraton", "Hilton" or "Marriot".
