RSD - new international symbol for dinar

British Standards Institute (BSI) from London informed the National Bank of Serbia on change of alpha and numeric code of the currency of Republic of Serbia.

That means that, starting from October 25, 2006, three-letter symbol (alpha code) for dinar is RSD, whereas numeric symbol (code) is 941.

Obtaining of three-letter and two-letter code finished the process of the obtaining of codes for the national currency - dinar. That created conditions for rating of Serbia's dinar on the world stock exchanges for the first time in the recent history.
