Tamara Maksimovic designs insignia of Air Serbia

Serbia's national airline has got a new name - Air Serbia, as well as new insignia that have been designed by graphic designer Tamara Maksimovic from Novi Sad.

The new brand will carry the country's name and red, blue and white color from the national flag of Serbia from Belgrade to all around the world, it was said after the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between Etihad and Jat Airways that now has a new name.

At the end of her graphic design studies, Tamara (25) was asked to prepare a brand design portfolio for a company of her choice.

- I wanted a big project, something with plenty of details and applications - says Tamara.

- It crossed my mind to pick an airline. I chose Jat Airways.

Jat then found Tamara's portfolio on a website dedicated to graphic design and hired her to design a new brand - Air Serbia.

- Branding is what I love the most - says Tamara.
