Filip Zepter to build yachts for billionaires in shipyard in Trieste

Serbian billionaire Filip Zepter claims that Croatia extorted EUR 400,000 from him for the VAT on his yacht, which is why he pressed charges against this country two years ago and now awaits verdict.
Zepter said in an interview to the Zagreb daily newspaper Jutarnji List that Croatia had not given him the shipyard in Kraljevica, adding that that was the reason why he had decided to have yachts for billionaires built in Trieste.
Zepter revealed that he had been negotiating the acquisition of Trieste-based shipyard over the past two weeks.
This newspaper writes that Zepter's yacht, which is currently moored in the Brioni Islands, is very easy to notice because in a sea of white boats only his yacht is colorful and the biggest of all, which is not surprising considering that it is valued at around EUR 30 million.
