Seven foreign insurance companies coming to Croatia - Financial market to change significantly less than month after EU admission

Small market of Croatia, which is already home to 27 insurance companies, will receive another seven foreign insurance companies within less than a month since the country's admission to the European Union.
The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) has issued operating licenses to seven new insurance companies, Poslovni Dnevnik reports.
The list of newcomers to the Croatian market includes three Irish insurance companies: Lifeguard, Canterbury, and Pine Indemnity, Belgium's Ducroire SA, Slovenia's Prvo Kreditno Osiguranje, Allianz Risk Transfer from Amsterdam, and International Transport IC from London.
