Chinese consortium buys Vrsacki Vinogradi

As Blic reports, one of the symbols of Vrsac, the famous winery Vrsacki Vinogradi, was sold to a Chinese consortium for EUR 5 million on July 26th.

The Privatization Agency previously advertised the sale of a part of the movable and immovable property of the business organization Vrsacki Vinogradi by public auction.

Starting price at the first public auction was set at 100 percent of the market value of this property, that is, EUR 17.6 million.

After the first public auction ended in a failure, starting price at the second auction was set at 51 percent of the market value, that is, EUR 8.9 million, but it too was unsuccessful.

The third auction saw the starting price at 30 percent of the market value - about EUR 5.2 million, which attracted aforementioned Chinese consortium that bought the winery.
