Yarn industry "Fulgar" from Italy intends to use new unit in Zrenjanin to strike back at competition from Far East

The aim of Italian company "Fulgar", which has the unit built in the industrial zone of Zrenjanin, is to develop local production of spiral, wrapped elastic yarns with the lower working expenses, which would make it possible for that company to compete with the companies from Far East and to integrate with Italian production.

"Fulgar" plans construction of factory worth 8.5m EUR. The first two buildings will be prefabricated, whereas 100 machines for wrapping of threads and two weaving machines will be settled in the production halls.

The commencement of production is schedulled for September 2007.
