Montenegro releases tender for oil and gas research in undersea

The Montenegrin Government has released tender for oil and gas research in Montenegrin undersea, Vladimir Kavaric, the Minister of Economy said.

According to him, tender will be open in the next seven months, i.e. until February 2014.

- The Montenegrin Government decided to release tender for oil and gas research in undersea. It is an area of 3.000 square kilometers - Kavaric said to journalists after the meeting of the Government.

He said that there is already an interest of foreign companies for that job, adding that the Government of Montenegro clearly defined in the tender conditions who can apply for the research.

- Neither companies from off-shore destinations with whom Montenegro does not have legal cooperation nor the companies whose owner is not known, will not be allowed to participate - Kavaric said.
