Gazprom loses spot on world's top 50 list

According to the Financial Times Global 500 rating, Russia’s gas giant Gazprom has dropped out of the list of the world’s 50 largest companies that now includes no Russian companies.

Gazprom, which was the first of the eight companies to make it to the Financial Times Global 500 rating, now ranks 57th. Its market value has dropped 30.4 percent to USD 101.4 billion.

Last year Gazprom ranked 31st with its market cap standing at USD 145.76 billion.
