Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic spoke with NCR Europe Vice President Jeff Mccroskey on Tuesday (23 July 2013) in Belgrade about plans for developing that US company in Serbia.
As the Serbian government announced, NCR, the world's leading manufacturer of ATMs and other banking devices and solutions, plans to double the number of its employees in Serbia next year to 1,400.
Prime Minister Dacic expressed his satisfaction with the fact that NCR had chosen Belgrade as the seat of its European center.
- The Serbian government has a priority task to stabilize economy and increase the employment rate. Expansion of this company in Serbia was agreed during the visit to the largest U.S. IT companies - said Dacic, who was on a visit to the USA this spring.
Jeff Mccroskey pointed out that Serbia had been selected as the European seat of that company due to quality experts, reliable legal framework, infrastructure, and support from the Serbian government.
