Ministry of Construction announces control of companies applying for tenders

On Friday (July 19, 2013), the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development will as soon as possible set up the inspection which will be accountable for control of companies which apply for tenders of that ministry.

- A large number of tenders, not only in Leskovac but throughout Serbia, is deliberately cancelled which disables normal and timely development of towns - Serbian Minister of Construction and Urban Development, Velimir Ilic, said upon his visit to Leskovac.

According to him, up till now, regional roads in the Leskovac surroundings would have been completed if there had not been for the companies which deliberately annul tenders and disable the procedure to be carried out in a proper way.

- That must be changed - Ilic pointed out in his conversation with the Mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic, calling these companies "so-called" companies.

Ilic visited a couple of places in Leskovac and got introduced with the project implementation dynamics supported by the Ministry pf Construction and Urban Development.
