Italian Veronesi interested in taking over Agroziv - Memorandum on cooperation signed

Memo on cooperation between Italian Veronesi and Zitiste-based Agroziv has been signed today at the Government of Serbia.
It was signed by the Minister of Finance and Trade, Mladjan Dinkic, and President of the Veronesi Holding, Bruno Veronesi and General Manager of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic.
Public company Srbijagas became the owner of Agroziv in late 2010 after signing sales contract totaling EUR 11,3 mil.
After signing the contract, Dinkic said that Veronesi is one of the biggest food companies in Italy and Euroie and that it is interested in taking over Agroziv.
According to hum, in the next months, the company will carry out detailed legal and economic analysis of Agroziv and if everything goes as planned, early next year could see significant investments.
Veronesi pointed out that the company came to Serbia to research options of meat production as well as of development of mutual cooperation with Agroziv.
Bajatovic said that there are all reasons the Government of Serbia should meet the needs of Agroziv, that all balance sheets are cleaned. that fair social program should be made and that all potentials of Agroziv should be directed towards production.
