Austrian "Strabag" to buy quarry "Kovilovača"?

Company for production of stone "Kovilovača" has been recently visited by the representatives of Austrian company "Strabag" and "Vojvodina put", in order to agree o future cooperation.

Since "Strabag" is the majority owner of Company for Roads Zaječar, as well as Company for Roads Čačak, Austrians are interested in procurement of "Kovilovača", which was privatized in 2003, and they are interested in broadening of capacities of the company and becoming new partner through joint investment.

Besides, there is possibility that "Strabag" gets concession for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway. If it achieves that, the stone from "Kovilovača" will be used for that purpose.
