On Saturday, the Minister of Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, said that in the upcoming period, the Ministry will start the process of reducing the number of licenses investors are required to have to be able to work in Serbia.
- In addition to all bylaw documents, which have been produced in the previous period, we now have to reduce the number of permits and everything else an investor needs so that he would really come to Serbia and start investing- Mihajlovic said for Tanjug.
When asked how she sees reviews of businessmen, who were interviewed within the NALED’s recent research, and who, when it comes to ministries, provided the most positive assessment to the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Energy, the Minister said:
- Everyone in the Ministry of Energy is particularly proud that, in only one year, according to the NALED assessment, we are the most open for cooperation with investors. Naled gave this estimation based on interviews with entrepreneurs, who are the most important segment of society when it comes to investing - Mihajlovic said.
She explained that the businessmen gave their estimations based on timeframe necessary to finish the job from the moment they ask for information from the Department of Energy to the moment when they complete this process.
