Camp for technology addicts opened in California

Camp Grounded, located in the Californian town of Navarro, is an adults-only summer camp where people come to "disconnect, run away, and be children again."

Despite this innocent explanation, Camp Grounded is a highly protected park where nearly 300 adults are treated for their addiction to modern technologies.

The rules of Camp Grounded are simple: all campers (who range in age from 19 to 67) must be adults; no phones, computers, tablets or watches are allowed; work talk, discussion of people’s ages and use of real names are prohibited. Without the distractions of the Web, social media, television and breaking news, the campers are invited to share and learn about each other’s lives.
