EU to finance renovation of Bajmok-Bacsalmas road - EUR 1.67 million project

Rehabilitation of a connecting road to the Bajmok-Bacsalmas border crossing between Serbia and Hungary will be completed by early September 2014.

After the successful opening of the new border crossing between Serbia and Hungary - Backi Vinogradi-Aszothalom, the City Hall in Subotica hosted a conference where a new project was announced - Rehabilitation of a Connecting Road to the Bacsalmas-Bajmok Border Crossing.

Thanks to this project which should be completed by 31 August 2014, the capacity of this border crossing will be increased, thus facilitating the development of neighboring settlements.

The project is valued at EUR 1.67 million with EUR 1.42 million to be donated by the European Union.
