Ponikve ready for small aicraft as of September

Ponikve Airport in Uzice will be opened to small aircraft as early as this September, Ponikve Director Sasa Savic told Tanjug news agency.

- We expect to get a certificate from the Mine Action Center and the international organization ITF within the next month, which would guarantee that the airport is safe for use and that there are no missiles left over from NATO bombing half a meter below the ground - said Savic.
