Top exporters in January-June 2013

The Ministry of Finance and Economy has published a list of top Serbian exporters whose operations give the biggest contribution to Serbia's economic growth.
As the ministry announced, gross domestic product grew 2.1 percent in Q1 2013 from the same period last year. For the first time ever, the main driver of Serbia's economic growth this year is export that grew as much as 21 percent in the first five months, whereas the foreign trade deficit dropped 20 percent from the same period in 2012.
The largest contribution to this year's GDP growth came from the automotive industry, agriculture and the services sector, which also achieved the largest export growth.
The biggest exporter was Fiat automobili Srbija, followed by the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), Tigar Tyres from Pirot, HIP-Petrohemija Pancevo, Hemofarm Vrsac, RTB Bor, Gorenje, Ball, Targett, Yura, Impol Seval, Tetra Pak Production, Sirmium Steel, Golden Lady - Valy, Leoni.
