Improvement of regional transport - Transportation Ministry and International Road Transport Union sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Serbian Transportation Ministry and the International Road Transport Union (IRU) signed Wednesday (3 July 2013) a Memorandum of Understanding that should contribute to the improvement of international transport in Serbia and the region.

The MoU was signed at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) by Transportation Minister Milutin Mrkonjic and IRU Secretary-General Umberto de Preto.

Preto said on that occasion that the MoU would affect the improvement of international transport, adding that the IRU would work with the SCC, the Serbian government, and the Customs Authority to advance transport as much as possible and, thus, better the economic development in Serbia and the region as well.
