Uniplast new investor in Novi Sad - Italian company to launch plastic foil production

Italy's Uniplast has rented a 2,200 square meter business facility within the Pobeda-Holding company in Petrovaradin, where it plans to begin plastic foil production by the year's end.
As people at the Vojvodina Investment Promotion Fund announced, a three-year lease agreement has been signed between Pobeda-Holding Director Jadranko Protic and Uniplast owner Domenico Lacuratolo.
Lacuratolo has established the International Plast company in Serbia for producing plastic packaging.
Uniplast plans to invest EUR 2 million, finish the installation of machines, and start production by end-October.
The factory will employ 30 workers after they complete a training.
According to Lacuratola, the whole production will be exported to the European Union.
The company intends to expand production in the future and starts exporting to the Russian market as well.
