Italy grants EUR 7.49 million aid to Serbia

The Cooperation Office of the Embassy of Italy has set aside EUR 7.49 million to support healthcare, education, energy sector, environmental protection and agriculture in Serbia.

This decision has been announced by the EU Integration Office of Serbia and the Cooperation Office of the Embassy of Italy after a meeting in Belgrade dedicated to the program "Support to Serbia's Economy Through Acquisition of Goods for Five Competent Ministries" (Antonione Protocol).

The officials of the two sides also presented their ideas for projects to be financed with the remaining program funds of EUR 7.49 million.

The Serbian government did not specify in today's release what kind of project would be financed.
