Italian "Flugar" opens a new department in Zrenjanin

The president of the county of Zrenjanin, Goran Knezevic and the President of the company "Flugar" from Mantova (Italy) have signed a contract about construction of a department for production of microfiber fibers, within the industrial zone "Bagljas" in this city.

By the contract it is planned to provide the investment in several phases, and the value of the starting one is 8,5 millions eur, and the beginning of the microfiber production and employement of 350 workers is expected by September, 2007.

"Flugar" company is the second in a row giant from Italy which has decided to build up a plant in Zrenjanin, and before it this was done by the underwear producer "Pompea".

Zrenjanin county has signed in the last two years contracts with investitors from Holland, Italy, Great Britain and Hungary, of the total value of 800 millions eur.
