Japan helps the water supplying of Belgrade with 3,8 millions dollars

Minister of economic international relations, Milan Parivodic and the ambassador of Japan in Belgrade, Tadashi Nagai, signed an Agreement about the second phase of the help from the Japanese government for promotion of water supplying of Belgrade in the value of 3,8 millions USD.

According to the words of Parivodic, the value of the total donation is 10,1 millions USD, and a part of approved sum, 6,3 millions USD, had been realized from July of 2005, and that first phase should be ended by March, 2007.

The money for the second phase, 3,8 millions USD, for which the implementation has been signed the Agreement, would be used for the further promotion of the system, like installation of informational technology for monitoring and analysis of drinking water.

Japan is one of the biggest donation country to Serbia, as because of the democratic changes, through humanitarian exchange and technical help to Serbia, entered around 100 millions dollars, and the means were used for the purchase of a bus, for equipping of the Clinical center in Belgrade, for the reconstruction of the electrical station in Bajina Basta and for the other projects of interest for population.
