Chinese and Prva petoletka to start mutual motor production

On Wednesday, the Delegation of the Faculty of Technology from Peking and experts from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering visited factory sections in Prva petoletka and discussed mutual production of turbo compressors for motors in car industry.

- Cooperation of our companies in the future could generate mutual benefits – Ma Chao Chen, a professor at the Peking-based university, says, adding that the Chinese industry in interested in investing in projects which have production capacities and human resources in Trstenik-based holding.

- From what I saw, I think they have great chances to be a potential supplier for the Chinese market and I think that there is a serious market for your country and a company.

We will communicate our impressions to the Chinese turbo compressor producer and I hope very soon conditions for cooperation will be generated.

According to the words of the General Manager at Prva petoletka, Ljubisav Panic, they discussed with guests potential cooperation on production of turbo compressors for the needs of factory for motor production in Rakovica.

- We started production of turbo compressors in 1992- Panic says.

- This is an opportunity to continue production with new technologies and to enter the local market of motors as well as to generate conditions for export in cooperation with Chinese partners.

In the future, U our factory PPT Kočna tehnika, at the moment facing crisis and with a break in development of 15 years, has an opportunity for cooperation.

Rakovica

Mr. Slobodan J. Popovic from the Belgrade-based Faculty for Mechanical Engineering is certain that production of turbo compressors has a future.

- We are currently preparing projects of revitalization of the Factory of motors in Rakovica and with colleagues from Peking we tried to find the mutual production model – Mr. Slobodan J. Popovic explains.
