Kusturica's "Drvengrad" becomes a winter touristic center

Movie town of the director, Emir Kusturica in Mokra Gora, known as "Drvengrad" will soon become an exclusive destination of the winter tourism.

Kusturica is presentley doing a shooting of his new film "The Vow", and the area of Mecavnik, the hills where this ethno-movie village is on, has been turned into a construction site.

- I believe that the works would be finished by winter and that then we'll be ready to expect the guests. "Drvengrad" is for the first time prepairing for the touristic season. After the end of the shooting of the "Vow" and when the movie crew leaves, and the new motel is finished, "Drvengrad" will offer around 60 beddings - explained Kusturica.

In the foot-hill of Mecavnik, there is being built a wooden motel on three floors which will have around 400 m2. On the ground floor there will be a restaurant, and on the top floor and high top will be apartments with 16 beddings. In the sports hall there is a movie studio at the moment, and besides different sports contents it will also serve for organization of concerts with over 1.500 of visitors.
