Reconstruction of Petrovaradin-Beocin railroad through public-private partnership - EUR 6.5 million project launched

Vojvodina Secretary of Economy Miroslav Vasin has signed, on behalf of the Vojvodina government, a protocol for participation in the implementation of the Petrovaradin-Beocin railroad reconstruction project, whose value is estimated at EUR 6.5 million. The protocol was signed with the representatives of companies BFC Lafarge, Alas Rakovac, Transnafta, Karin Komerc MD, the City Development Institute of Beocin, and Beocin Mayor Bogdan Cvejic.

According to Miroslav Vasin, the signing of this protocol is a result of six months of intensive talks between all partners in the project, and it finally expresses an intention to have the Petrovaradin-Beocin railroad reconstructed through a public-private partnership and then reopened to traffic.
