Milsped becomes member of NCTS Business Contact Group

Following the adoption of the National Plan for the project of introducing a New Computerized Transit System, that plays a key role in the implementation of EU standards and procedures, the Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with representatives of prominent businesses customs system established Business contact group, where Milsped will take active role.
New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) is a modern electronic platform based on the complete computerization of customs procedures, that integrates operations more than 3,000 customs branches in Europe and connects a member state of the EU and EFTA through a central domain in Brussels.
Fundamental advantage of NCTS is replacement of paper documentation electronically that will bring improved service quality to authorized economic operators (AEO) and to customers, less time waiting at customs, greater flexibility in presenting declaration and provide cost savings.
Milsped participation in the implementation of the NTSC's is based on the support that aims to modernize the customs system of Serbia, the development of international customs cooperation, reducing the finance load by rapid release of guarantees and the introduction of full transparency in the delivery process by electronic data management.
