Etihad experts end their stay in Belgrade - Jat operations scanned

Experts of Etihad Airways from the United Arab Emirates yesterday ended their three-day stay in Belgrade, where they have been analyzing the operations of Jat Tehnika and Jat Airways' daughter companies Jat Catering and Jat Support, people at Jat Airways told Tanjug news agency.
People at Jat said that the visit was successful, voicing their expectation that the cooperation with that Near East company would be continued. They also pointed out that that was the first time Etihad experts had visited Jat Tehnika, Jat Catering and Jat Support.
Etihad was analyzing the operations of these companies as part of its preparations for the possibility of entering into strategic partnership with the Serbian flag carrier.
The Arab airline will introduce regular daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Belgrade as of June 15.
Jat and Etihad signed a contract on commercial cooperation on 46 destinations and introduction of joint code share flights in April.
Etihad, which had 10.3 million passengers last year, holds a stake in companies Air Berlin, Air Seychelles, Virgin Australia, and Air Lingus, and is one of the quickest-growing airlines in the world.
