EUR 1 million provided for restoration of Sava River waterways

The Ministry of Transportation of Serbia said in a release on Tuesday that it had provided EUR 1 million for the first phase of the Sava River waterways restoration project.

According to this release, this will allow for a significant investment to be made in the Sava waterways for the first time in two decades.

The release also reads that it is necessary to provide about EUR 15 million for a complete rehabilitation and all planned activities on the river connecting seven million people in four states.
