Gazprom Neft terminates agreement with Naftni Terminali BiH

Russia's largest national oil company Gazprom Neft, which bought OMV gas stations in Bosnia-Herzegovina few months ago, has terminated a two-year lease agreement for a storage of the Naftni Terminali BiH (NTF) company in Ploce.

This move has left NTF without an expected revenue of nearly KM 3 million (EUR 1.5 million) because Gazprom Neft was bound by that agreement to pay a monthly rent of EUR 60,000 over a period of two years, Dnevni Avaz cites NTF CEO Rasim Kadic as saying.

After buying OMV gas stations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Gazprom Neft established the G-Petrol company in Sarajevo, which few days ago sent an official letter to NTF, stating its intention to terminate the lease of the storage previously used by OMV on July 1st. This storage is actually a 10,000 cubic meter tank.

Kadic says that NTF has already issued a public invitation to tender for the rental of this storage in order to resolve this situation. He points out that Russians have promised to pay within the next two months all the money that they are to pay in line with the agreement which was supposed to be in effect by December.
