River fleet of Serbia - target of ship giants

Serbia could as soon as in November of 2006 be left without a complete river fleer, considering the fact that the interest for taking over 'JRB', our largest ship company, showed almost all European river companies.

In the ownership of the ship company are 16 farriers and carriers, three passanger ships, floating workshops, 61 places for dry and 69 for river freight, and a building in Knez Milosa st. in Belgrade. This JRB's property, which has profit, was roughley estimated to be from 30 to 50 millions eur worth it.

- Of course we are interested for the purchase of the ship company that stands for one of the three strongest ones on the Danube - said Dr Ronald Shrems from the Austrian company "Vina Donau raum".

For the purchase of JRB is also interested several German, French and Russian companies, and from domestic ones "Omega" and "East point".

JRB is our unique company that succeeded after 30 years in building one ship, "Deligrad" that meets all standards in order to flow through the European rivers.
