Boris Tadic invited Italin representatives to invest in Serbia

The President of Serbia, Boris Tadic talked yesterday (October, 11th, 2006) in Rome with the representatives of the leading Italian companies about the growth of the economic cooperation and about the possibilities of investing in Serbia.

Tadi stressed out that Italy is one of the three most important economic destinations for Serbia and Europe, besides Austria and Germany, and that probabley this year it would become its first foreign trade partner, by inviting all businessmen to invest in Serbia.

The President of the Society of Italian industrials "Confinindustrie Italia" Luka Montezemolo, also the president of "Ferrari", "Masserati" and "Fiat" estimated that the meeting with the Serbian president was "usefull to Italian businessmen".

- We have considered all possibilities of cooperation and investing. We have heard good experiences of the Italian companies which are already doing business in Serbia and I believe that the meeting will have concrete results - said Montezemolo.
