The "Post offices of Serbia" will build three automatized centers worth around 33 millions EUR

"Post offices of Serbia" will give around 8 millions eur for the modernization of its branches across the Republic, and around 33 millions eur for building up of a three automatized post centers in Belgrade, Nis, and Novi Sad, as announced by the Serbian Minister of financies, Mladjan Dinkic.
He said that the Government of Serbia was not thinking at all about the privatization of the Post offices of Serbia, which would continue to be a public company.
- After the sale of "Mobi 63" and increase of the funds, to the "Post offices of Serbia" will be paid around 100 millions eur because it took over the demands towards the former Mobtel from the two Austrian banks and in this way it helped the state to get a better position in the sale of Mobi 63 - explained Dinkic.
With giving these funds, the goal of the Government of Serbia was to give majority of this money to the investments in The Post, as stressed out by the Minister, and he mentioned that by the end of the 2006, around 8 millions was in plan for modernization of the branches and around 33 millions for the construction of the main post center.
