Oil refinery Pancevo invests 12,6 millions eur more in ecological projects

For the realization of ecological projects in the Oil refinery Pancevo has been invested 23,8 millions eur, and by the end of 2006, it is in plan 12,6 millions eur more of investments, as said by the director for development and investments in NIS Petrol, Zoran Predic.

He said that all mentioned funds were related to the investment in revitalization and building up of new plants and installations which would significantley contribute to the dicrease of emissions of damaging materials. Reminding that 29 reservoirs were constructed by now, in the Oil refinery Pancevo, Predic added that by the end of the year 16 more would be realized.

He pointed out that planned investments of around 179 millions eur were in new technologies which would make the production of derrivates according to european standards, but also it would bring a direct increase of the ecological picture on the global level.
